Systems Task Group International (STG), a provider of software solutions for the property/casualty insurance industry, has announced the offering of its Renaissance billing solution on the .NET platform beginning fourth-quarter 2007.
"More insurers are embracing .NET as a preferred architecture. STG's move to offer a .NET version of Renaissance should help expand [the company's] market potential and make it a more attractive provider for those who are committed to .NET," says Matthew Josefowicz, managing director, insurance, at research and advisory firm Celent.
STG currently offers its billing solution on a J2EE platform as a stand-alone version as well as an integrated version. The company will continue to support the J2EE platform.
