Columbus, Ohio-based insurance brokerage group Assurex Globalhas added an Indonesian brokerage to its partner list, PT. Mitra,Iswara & Rorimpandey (MIR) Insurance Brokers.

“Our mission as an organization is to support the bestindependent insurance brokers around the world with the programsand services they need to grow,” said John Rodwell, vice presidentof International Business Development for Assurex Global, in astatement.

Mr. Rodwell noted, “Assurex Global Partners traditionally enjoyannual growth rates of about 12 percent, with the top performersexceeding 25 percent. MIR even exceeded that level last year.”

Assurex Global said it invites only one independent broker permarket to join the group.

MIR President and Director Djoko Gazali said the firm offers afull range of services including employee benefits, engineering,marine cargo, fire and property coverage, personal accident andmotor vehicle protection.

Mr. Gazali added that MIR works with clients throughoutIndonesia from a main office in Jakarta and branch locations inSurabaya, Semarang, Bandung and Denpasar Bali.

Founded in 1954, Assurex Global has 118 partner firms with morethan 500 offices in 80 countries. It reports over $23 billion inannual premium volume.
