The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New Jerseysaid its online property-casualty insurance pre-licensing coursehas received approval from the New Jersey Department of Banking& Insurance.
|Regulations in the past only allowed classroom courses, butrecent regulatory changes by the department now allow agents totake courses online.
|Students will have up to one year to complete the course whichis estimated to take 20 hours for the property portion and another20 hours for the casualty portion.
|Upon successful completion students can take the state insurancelicensing test.
|Registration is available by calling IIABNJ at (609)587-4333.
