The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents said its annual group lobbying effort that gathers members in Washington next month will stress to lawmakers their opposition to optional federal charters for insurers.

PIA is due to host its 25th annual Federal Legislative Summit March 28-29 in Washington, D.C.

PIA members from around the nation will assemble then to meet their elected representatives and advance the views and legislative positions of professional independent insurance agents.
