Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Alessandro A.Iuppa as head of Government and Industry Affairs for GeneralInsurance, and as Chief Government Affairs Officer, North America,the company announced Friday.
The Maine Superintendent of Insurance recently completed hisone-year term as president of the National Association of InsuranceCommissioners.
Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Iuppa will represent andcoordinate Zurich's interactions with various governmental andindustry bodies at the federal and state levels in the UnitedStates, as well as globally for general insurance. He will reportto Peter Buomberger, group head, government and industryaffairs.
