Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, a Boston-based autoinsurer, said it plans to give insureds a discount on their carinsurance if they contribute to a local public radio station.
The company said it has partnered with WBUR, Boston's NationalPublic Radio network affiliate, to offer a special, discounted autoinsurance rate to WBUR's Massachusetts members.
Listeners who contribute $60 or more to WBUR will receive a WBURMember Card that entitles them to benefits, including a 10 percentdiscount on auto insurance with Plymouth Rock. The discount isavailable through all Plymouth Rock agents in Massachusetts.
