American International Group, Inc. said Monday it amended its March 2006 registration statement relating to shares of its common stock that may be delivered by Starr International Company, Inc. to AIG employees under the terms of Starr’s deferred compensation participation plans.

AIG also said it filed amendments to its annual report on Form 10-K for 2005 resolving Securities and Exchange Commission staff comments by providing expanded disclosure. These amendments do not involve any restatement of AIG’s financials, the company said.
