Aon's subsidiary, Affinity Insurance Services Inc., has acquireda division of JLT Services Corporation, specializing in programadministration for association-sponsored insurance programs.
The Chicago-based insurance brokerage firm said the JLT divisionhas 50 employees in offices in Chicago and Latham, N.Y. Most areexpected to join Aon, the firm said.
Aon said the combination of resources of the two would enhancetechnology-enabled service, especially in e-commerce, and providemarket leverage and product diversity for the JLT associations.Affinity would benefit from an infusion of talented professionals,along with access to a proprietary administration and claimshandling system.
