Assurex Global said brokers in Australia, Switzerland andAustria have been added to its network.
|The Columbus, Ohio-based brokerage group has more than 130independently owned insurance brokerage partners throughout theworld, accounting for annual premiums of $21 billion.
|The firms added to the group are: OAMPS Insurance Brokers, Ltd.in East Melbourne, Australia; GWP Insurance Brokers headquarteredin Zurich, Switzerland; and Assurance PartnersVersicherungsmakler-und beratung GmbH in Vienna, Austria.
|Assurex Global also named several new members to itsInternational Executive Committee, which oversees the selection andongoing evaluation of independent brokers outside of North Americaand advises the board of directors on international strategy.

|o Jan R. Bednarz of MJ Insurance Inc. in Indianapolis.
|o Peter Bergman of EDP Assurance AB in Gothenburg, Sweden.
|o Robin Harman of HSBC Insurance Brokers, Ltd. in London.
|o David J. Kohl of Roach Howard Smith & Hunter Inc. inDallas.
|Raymond Sit, HSBC Insurance Brokers (Asia-Pacific) Limited, inWanchai, Hong Kong, was elected to a second term.
