Insurers may not find many growth markets left to tap into, but executives with two leading brokers believe pollution liability coverage for contractors–and environmental insurance, in general–offer growth opportunities for years to come.

“Environmental insurance has been around for 30 years, but in the last five years we have seen exponential growth in the [purchase] of this product,” said David Bennink, managing director of Aon Environmental. “Market forces are driving demand,” he said.
