Before founding Notch, Rafael worked in product strategy at AGT International, an AI and IoT company focused on complex physical environments, and later in venture investing at Orca Capital. He also co-founded one of the first commercial insurance products for digital assets, giving him firsthand experience building products in highly regulated markets. Earlier in his career, he served in the Israeli Air Force. Today, Rafael leads Notch's strategy, go-to-market, and investor relationships across New York and Tel Aviv.

Kaenan Hertz | Managing Partner | Insurtech Advisors

Dr. Kaenan Hertz is the Founder and Managing Partner of Insurtech Advisors, where he advises regional insurance carriers and their boards on AI strategy, governance, and innovation. He is a co-founder and Chief Insurance Officer of Ahoy! Insurance, a marine and yacht MGA. Over a three-decade career spanning government, academia, and financial services, he built and led analytics organizations at USAA, PwC, Ernst & Young, and Citibank. Trained as a statistician, he has advised CEOs and boards across the industry, launched insurance companies from scratch, and served as an expert witness in insurance matters.

Jason Wrather | AVP, Innovation Officer | Grange Insurance

Jason Wrather serves as the AVP of Innovation at Grange Insurance since May 2014, leading the Innovation practice which includes two studios focused on enhancing operational efficiency and driving growth within the insurance sector. Previously, Jason held the position of Vice President of Product Management at Vertafore from June 2012 to November 2013, managing a diverse range of software products and overseeing a revenue of $225 million. Jason's career in the insurance industry also includes roles such as Vice President of Product Development at Safeco Insurance, Senior Product Manager at GMAC Insurance, Product Manager at Allstate Insurance, and Senior Actuarial Analyst at Progressive Insurance. Jason began his career as an Actuarial Analyst at American National Property And Casualty Company and earned a B.S. in Mathematics with a Minor in Insurance from Missouri State University.
