|Ceil Norton was elected vice chairman of the association. Mr.Norton is branch manager with Burns & Wilcox in Fresno,Calif.
|John Edack was named secretary-treasurer. He is executive vicepresident with Arch Specialty Insurance Agency Inc. in SanFrancisco.
|SLA of California is an organization of 1,200 surplus linebrokers licensed by the state to negotiate and place insurance withnonadmitted carriers. It also is the official advisory organizationto the California Department of Insurance.
