Vermont Captive Insurance Association and the State of Vermontin an effort to promote captive insurance ownership are presentinga seminar next month in Cleveland on the benefits of captiveinsurance operations.
The Feb. 8 seminar, “Strategic Advantages of Captive Insurance,”will explore the decision to form a captive insurer. This is anindividualized process that reflects the unique needs and interestsof an organization, VCIA said.
VCIA said a panel at the session will consist of three captiveowners as well as Derick White, Vermont's director of captiveinsurance, Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities andHealth Care Administration.
