Ohio Casualty Insurance Company's president of insurance operations, Elizabeth M. Riczko, has resigned.

The company said Ms. Riczko, 38, left to pursue other interests. The resignation becomes effective June 3.

Ms. Riczko joined the company in 1992 in the actuarial department. She was named president of insurance operations in May 2004. Prior to that position, she was vice president and chief operation officer of the carrier's personal lines division.

The company said it would begin an immediate search for her replacement. The rest of the senior management team remains intact, the company added.

The spokeswoman had no additional comment on Ms. Riczko's resignation; the company statement said it wishes her well in future endeavors.

Ohio Casualty Insurance Company is a subsidiary of the Fairfield, Ohio-based Ohio Casualty Corporation.

The company was founded in 1919 and is licensed in 49 states. The group writes auto, home and business insurance.
