Fathom and Altitude, AXA Climate's climate risk platform, have announced the expansion of their collaboration to further integrate Fathom's probabilistic models into Altitude's decision-support platform for investors and corporations. The integration includes data from FathomDEM+, Fathom's latest terrain model, which uses machine learning to deliver near-LiDAR-quality elevation data globally, improving the accuracy of flood hazard assessment across portfolios and regions.
DUAL Latin America has partnered with Liberty Specialty Markets Latin America, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, to deliver enhanced property and financial lines capacity in the middle market segment for brokers and clients across Latin America. The partnership places emphasis on Mexico and Central America for property, and on all countries in the region for financial lines. The collaboration is a response to growing market demand. Property represents a significant share of P&C premiums in the region, while financial lines continues to gain momentum as organizations seek stronger protection against evolving regulatory requirements.
NFP launched its P&C Group Captive practice through the acquisition of Trinity Risk Advisors, LLC, a Charlotte, N.C.-based captive brokerage firm. Alan Wise, president of Trinity Risk, will lead the practice as a managing director and report to Meg McSherry, managing director and head of P&C in NFP's Atlantic region. Wise previously sold Trinity Consulting, a risk management and employee benefits firm, to NFP in 2015 before founding Trinity Risk.
Mariner has acquired Cowell Insurance Services, a property and casualty insurance provider, which adds business and individual risk advisory solutions to the wealth manager's service offering. The P&C provider will operate under the Mariner brand, and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
