As individuals across the U.S. increasingly face rising grocery prices and lose access to SNAP benefits, Harvest Pack is trying to meet the growing demand for nutritious meals. Though we work with many engaged volunteers, we want to ensure we can sustain the supplies on which our food shelf or pantry partners rely.
Our ability to maintain the supply of these critical services and face operational challenges head-on is in part due to our partnership with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF). IICF's invaluable contributions have enabled us to bring our efforts to the next level:

Impact: In 2026, Harvest Pack is estimated to reach 5 million meals packed. Last year, we were able to pack just over 3 million. These numbers are both a reflection of Harvest Pack's expanding capabilities as well as the growing need for the service we provide. IICF has been instrumental in helping us meet this demand on both fronts, providing the grants and helping hands we need to support our growth and establish connections with new corporate and nonprofit partners and their communities.
Reach: IICF's wide professional network allows Harvest Pack to extend its services well beyond where we started in Minnesota. Not only does IICF supply a healthy number of volunteers, but the collective buy-in from members across the country has enabled us to broaden the scope of our events. These individuals are truly committed to our cause, and their level of engagement has allowed us to scale at pace.
Mission: IICF volunteers are eager to spread the word through their professional network, connecting us with more organizations eager to contribute to their own communities. Each meal-packing event allows us to mobilize more than 100 experienced volunteers who share in the urgency behind our mission, equipping industry leaders with the knowledge and tools to connect with food relief organizations and fight food insecurity in their communities.

In 2025, hundreds of IICF volunteers helped pack 95,000 meals across the country. This year, insurance professionals have already rolled up their sleeves to assemble 95,000 meals for food banks throughout the U.S., with more upcoming packing events planned, including one in Austin, Texas (exact date TBD). The IICF Florida Chapter has an ambitious goal of packing 50,000 meals and potentially bringing IICF's total contributions in 2026 to more than 188,000 nutritious meals.
