Winter’s chill still has a hold on much of the United States, but Spring Break is just around the corner. This year, however, many may find themselves shelling out significantly more money for their vacation than they have in the past.
Squaremouth reports that travelers have seen prices rise over the last four years, with the average international trip cost in 2025 hitting $9,922 — an increase of 11% from 2024, 16% from 2023 and 32% from 2022.
Making this significant of an investment in a trip means travel insurance could be even more imperative than normal. Travel insurance protects the policyholder in the event of things like trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, travel accidents and lost luggage.
