Elana Ashanti Jefferson is executive editor of NU Property & Casualty magazine and PropertyCasualty360.com. In this function, Elana helps steer a team of multimedia journalists who report, write, edit and disseminate timely, relevant, industry-specific news. Prior to working at "NUP&C," Elana spent nearly 20 years in the newspaper business. She has worked for publications on both coasts as well as in her home state of Colorado. Elana is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism and the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.

Anibal Moreno is the Founder and CEO of USQRisk, an MGA that specializes in alternative risk transfer solutions. Anibal leads the company's strategies including partnerships with clients, brokers, (re)insurers, entrepreneurs, and investors. Aside from specialized products, USQRisk also supports its MGA incubator/accelerator program, Desq, which just launched its first specialized MGA, Pera. Prior to USQ, Anibal held senior executive roles at Allianz, Zurich and Chubb with a focus on alternative risk and financial lines underwriting.

Shruti Sem is Executive Vice President on the Property & Casualty team for BMS Re US, the rapidly-expanding and global reinsurance arm of broking group BMS. With over 300 employees across offices across the US, London, Bermuda, Latin America, and Asia, they specialize in bespoke Property & Casualty solutions, structuring XOL treaties, primary risk and quota share treaties, catastrophe covers, program/delegated authority placements as well as providing facultative and capital advisory services.
