Global Risk Solutions Group, Inc. appointed James F. Hughes III as a senior strategic advisor in its environmental risk management solutions business unit. He previously led the global risk and insurance programs at ConocoPhillips. FM Global announced the following appointments:

Lyndon D. Broad: senior vice president, chief underwriting officer
David M. Johnson: senior vice president, chief client experience officer

The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters appointed Justin Skipton to lead as an officer of the association. He also works as a public adjuster at Skipton and Associates, Inc. One Inc. appointed David Thayer as chief financial officer. He served in various senior financial leadership roles at the U.S. Bank subsidiary Elavon. Marsh announced that Duncan Ashurst joined its Chicago office as risk management leader. He served at Willis Towers Watson as a global client advocate and the U.S. automotive practice leader. TigerRisk Partners LLC appointed Tim Edwards as part of its growing London-based property and casualty team serving clients in the U.K., Europe, and wider international region. He served as regional director, head of catastrophe analytics for global clients, at Willis Re. Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers appointed Ken Young as an assistant vice president, senior underwriter/broker. He served as assistant vice president at RT Specialty. Mosaic Insurance announced the following appointments:

Tim Glover: chief underwriting officer
David White: underwriting director

MS Amlin AG announced that Christopher Beazley joined as chief executive officer. He successfully led global strategic initiatives across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The Hartford appointed Shahzad Ahmad as head of the western division for the company's middle and large commercial insurance business. He previously served as regional vice president at The Hartford. Optio Group promoted Chris Kirby to global head of political violence and terrorism, and his relocation to establish Optio's PVT underwriting capabilities in the U.S. He joined Optio as head of political violence and terrorism in early 2020.
