Perhaps no other event in recent history prompted individuals and families to move outside of crowded metroplexes and relocate to suburban locales than the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, Rocket Mortgage evaluated 2019 data from the U.S. Census Bureau to compile a list of the fastest-growing cities in the nation. Known for their relatively warm climates and cultural diversity, cities in the South and West regions of the U.S. dominate the 2021 list of fastest-growing cities, with some cities earning a place on the list for a consecutive year.
