CRC Group acquired W. Brown & Associates Property & Casualty, a California-based surplus lines broker and MGA. W. Brown operations include brokerage, P&C binding, and transportation binding. The addition of W. Brown will expand the CRC Binding franchise with a physical office in California for the first time. It continues the ongoing expansion of CRC Binding following the October acquisition of Specialty Risk Associates.

Temple University’s Fox School of Business will host the “2020 Enterprise Risk Management Conference: ERM in an Age of Uncertainty and Disruption” in a virtual format on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. The conference is free and open to the public and will focus on ERM implementation and operation while offering a deeper look at reputational risk management and the role of environment, social, and governance principles in managing risk.
