A new state insurance regulator panel will be looking at how it should address matters related to race, diversity, inclusion and fairness in the insurance sector.

The Special Committee on Race and Insurance, an arm of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), is preparing to hold a two-hour open meeting starting at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Sept. 17.
