New York City has agreed to settle a civil fraud lawsuit filed by the Manhattan U.S. Attorney alleging that the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) fraudulently obtained millions of dollars from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) by falsely claiming that numerous NYCDOT vehicles were damaged during Superstorm Sandy.
