The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) held their annual Women in Insurance Conference at The Pierre Hotel in New York City on June 7. The event featured a panel of insurance industry leaders, board members and executives who delivered empowering, thought-provoking presentations to a sold out crowd of both women and men. "One of our goals was to give people tools to take back with them to the office. We had skill-building sessions, and our speakers were incredibly inspirational," Betsy Myatt, executive director of IICF's Northeast Division said. "I think that was a very important message, that the people who were here today had a responsibility to go back and take what they learned today and do something with that." The New York conference was one of four in a series of IICF Womens' Conferences that will be held this month. These conferences will take place in Chicago on June 14, Dallas on June 19, and Los Angeles on June 21.
