Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has promoted John Fletcher to chairman of the firm's Bermuda Operations. Fletcher most recently served as head of Guy Carpenter's property retrocessional practice in Bermuda.

Franck Pinette has been appointed managing director of Willis Re's EMEA Life & Health practice. He brings over 30 years of experience in life reinsurance and most recently served as CEO of Guy Carpenter's European Life Reinsurance operations for the past eight years.

Liam Caffrey - global CEO of Affinity.
Jillian Slyfield - digital economy leader
Lambros Lambrou - global chief commercial officer and CEO of global specialties for the firm's commercial risk business

Heidi Staab will serve as an employee benefits advisor for Assurance. Heidi's focus will be on providing employee benefit solutions to the senior living, not-for-profit and technology industries, as well as government contractors.

Assurance also hired Megan Carroll vice president for Assurance Financial Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Assurance. She joins with 13 years of industry experience and will work out of Assurance's Schaumburg headquarters.

JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc, has appointed Vipul Kumar vice president of the transaction advisory practice. Kumar joints JKT from Davis Wright Tremaine LLP where he served as a senior associate attorney.
