Dr. Marina Chierici has been appointed financial lines underwriter for Navigators' international management and professional liability division. Prior to joining Navigators, she spent almost 30 years with Chubb as a financial lines manager.

Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA) has appointed Dan Smith director of enterprise applications, a new position at its Hampton location. Previously, Smith worked at Sikich LLP as director of technical services.

Alexis Faber has been appointed COO within Willis Towers Watson 's corporate risk and broking segment. Faber will transition from her current role as global head of financial lines.

Aon Risk Solutions has appointed Brian Shea resident managing director of the Construction Services Group in the New York region. Shea served as head of the construction division at Arch Insurance Group for more than 10 years prior to joining Aon.

Aon Risk Solutions also appointed Lurline Craig-Burke managing director. Prior to joining Aon, Craig-Burke served as president of Jackson Executives.

Lockton Benefit Group has added Jay M. Kirschbaum to the Compliance Services team. He previously led the employee benefits compliance team at Willis Towers Watson for 16 years.

Ariel Hernandez has been appointed senior vice president in Miami for JLT Re Inc. Hernandez joins JLT Re from the Chaucer Syndicates Ltd of The Hanover Insurance Group Inc., where he was a treaty underwriter.

Keystone Insurers Group has named Sheldon Palefsky Georgia state vice president. Most recently, he served as a branch marketing manager for Columbia Insurance Group where he managed the regional marketing efforts for five states.

Matt Cundith has joined Lockton's Los Angeles office to advise clients on resources and tools that can solve risk management challenges. Cundith comes to Lockton from Aon where he consulted contractors, developers and Fortune 1000 firms on surety risks and solutions.

The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has appointed Iván de la Sota to the Board of Management as chief business transformation officer, effective April 1. De la Sota has been with Allianz for 27 years and was appointed CEO of the Iberian and Latin American region in Nov. 2015

Ian Coleman and Bob Knock have both been appointed to the roles of senior ATE underwriters for AmTrust Law, the legal expenses insurance division of AmTrust International. Both join from Elite Insurance where they were responsible for its ATE (“after the event”) business.

Capital Insurance Group has appointed Yecenia Galvan agency development manager. Most recently she served as agency business conversion specialist for Nationwide.

Mark Engelhart has joined FRISS as their data protection officer. He spent the last year and a half as an external project manager at FRISS.

The American Insurance Association (AIA) has elected Anthony J. Kuczinski, president and chief executive officer at Munich Reinsurance America Inc., as chairman of AIA's Board of Directors. Kuczinski was elected at AIA's March Board meeting and will succeed Chris Swift, chairman and chief executive officer at The Hartford.

Lockton has appointed Sharon Rogerson assistant vice president and account executive in their Signature Client Group. She will be based out of Lockton's Irvine, CA office.
