On March 1, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), based in Los Angeles, held its Media Roundtable — a day for representatives from some of its key partner companies and the media to discuss IICF’s charitable success in 2016 and initiatives for 2017.

Representatives from Chubb, CNA, HUB International, Lloyd’s America, Munich Re, Swiss Re and Zurich demonstrated how their corporate social responsibility (CSR), along with their partnership with IICF, spurred community outreach. Notable accomplishments include the Chubb Charity Challenge raising nearly $900,000 and Munich Re giving employees two days off each year to volunteer at a non-profit of the employee’s choice.
