Reno, Nevada-based Employers Holdings Inc. said it has expanded its workers' compensation underwriting practice to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nebraska and New York. The company now underwrites workers' comp for small businesses in 36 states and the District of Columbia.

Alexandria, Virginia-based insurance industry educational program InVEST said it has appointed Neil Lenane to its national board as an agent member. He remains business leader for talent acquisition at Progressive Insurance.

Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. said that it has acquired certain assets of Southborough, Massachusetts-based Pinnacle Financial Group and Pinnacle Insurance Agency. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Los Angeles-based wholesale broker and managing general agent Worldwide Facilities said it has acquired Pooler, Georgia-based commercial transportation underwriting manager and wholesale insurance broker Trinity Underwriting Managers, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New York City-based insurance broker Marsh LLC said it is partnering with Bermuda-based Endurance Global Risk Solutions to offer a new habitational insurance program for multifamily property owners and managers. The program, called PRIME Habitational Casualty Insurance Program, offers broad, competitive coverage terms and pricing.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based insurer United Fire Group Inc. said it has released the Predict update for its InsureRight platform for underwriters. The program for commercial auto policies is created through a partnership with Denver-based P&C data and analytics provider Valen Analytics.

Bermuda-based specialty insurance and reinsurance products underwriter Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. announced it has launched a new slip and fall product. Argo Risk Tech is designed for restaurant, grocery and convenience store owners reduce the frequency and severity of customer and employee accidents like slip-and-falls.
