Mississauga, Ontario-based disaster restoration servicesprovider FirstOnSite Restoration G.P. Inc. saidit has reached a definitive asset purchase agreement with FortWorth, Texas-based Interstate Restoration LLC, subject to courtapproval, under which Interstate Restoration will acquireFirstOnSite. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Washington, D.C.-based CertifiedAutomotive Parts Association said it is makingits standards available to the China Automobile MaintenanceIndustry Association.

San Diego, Calif.-based claims management softwarecompany Mitchell International said ithas added Tampa, Fla.-based ForeSight Medical's Fusionaudit and adjudication platform to its SmartAdvisor billreview software.

Valhalla, N.Y.-based insurance brokerage and consultingcompany USI Insurance Services said ithas recognized 529 Summit Award winners thecompany's top performing employees located in more than 140locations across the United States. The company said at itsfifth-annual Summit Awards celebration on April 15 that this wasthe first time the company honored 25 five-time Summit winners.

The Alexandria Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers ofAmerica said it has awarded Bill Wilson, CPCU,ARM, AIM, AAM, with its Jeff Yates Lifetime Achievement Award, thehighest honor the association bestows on a non-agent, for alifetime of work in the independent agency system. Wilson isIIABA's associate vice president of education and research, anddirector of its Virtual University director. Based in Gallatin,Tenn., Wilson joined IIABA in 1999.

IIABA also said it has awarded Tom Minkler, CIC, with itsWoodworth Memorial Award, the highest honor the association bestowson one of its members. Minkler is president of theClark-Mortenson Agency in Keene, N.H., and formerIIABA chairman. The Woodworth Memorial Awardrecognizes the contributions of an independent agent or broker tothe national association, to his or her IIABA colleagues andto the insurance industry.

New York City-based property and casualtyinsurancer IronshoreInc. said it has reached an agreement toacquire the remaining 80% equity interest in Mount Juliet,Tenn.-based Lexon Surety Group LLC, and itssurety-related affiliates. Terms were not dislcosed but Ironshoresaid it will use cash on hand to fund the purchase in an all-cashtransaction expected to close in 2016, subject to regulatoryapprovals and other customary conditions.

East Windsor, Conn.-based Insuritas said it will begin offeringinsurance policies through Bristol, Pa.-based Inspire Federal Credit Union.
