The “good” news is, you aren't alone. The Wall StreetJournal on Friday ran an article examining this phenomenon, whichis especially pointed in the tech industry where finding andkeeping good salespeople is proving to be incredibly difficult.

“Technical sales and sales-management positions play a criticalrole for U.S. businesses, but they are among the hardest to fill,according to a 2014 report from Harvard Business School's U.S.Competitiveness Project,” the article reads. “Employers spent anaverage of 41 days trying to fill technical sales jobs, comparedwith an average of 33 days for all jobs for the 12-month periodending in September 2014, according to Burning Glass, alabor-market analysis firm that worked with Harvard Business Schoolon the report.”
