Glatfelter Insurance Group announced thepromotion of Larissa Tosch to vice president andchief information officer. Ben Phillips joined SterlingRisk asthe Northeast private client practice leader. Mr. Phillips bringsmore than nine years of experience to the role, and will spearheadefforts to grow SterlingRisk's Private Client Group and develop theFamily Office Space client base.Mergers & Acquisitions Marsh Inc. acquired Central Insurance Services Ltd., acompany based in Alberdeen, Scotland. The acqusitions will allowMarsh to expand its footprint in Scotalnd and the United Kingdom,as Central Insurance Services specializes in providing brokerageand risk advisory services to companies the oil and gas industry.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ICA Inc., a firm that provides insurance claimsadjusting and related services, was acquired by a Brown & BrownInc. subsidary. The acquired ICA will continue tooperate from existing locations in Charlotte, N.C.; Richardson,Texas and Gold River, Colo.
