Mississippi insurance commissioner Mike Chaneywas inducted into the Mississippi State University Insurance Hallof Fame. Chaney has accomplished a great deal during his tenure asinsurance commissioner, including recovering over $15.2 million forthe citizens of the state, and recruiting over 140 new companies todo business in the state.

Jim Bichard was named London market insuranceleader at PricewaterhouseCooper. Bichard is a partner withsixteen years experience at the firm. He is responsible for thefirm's audit, tax and advisory lines of service.

Senn DunnInsurance added Jennifer Taylor to the groupof agnecy partner owners. Taylor joined Senn Dunn in 2006 as abusiness insurance account executive. She has over 28 years ofinsurance experience with expertise in assessing and handlingrisk management needs.

Nautilus Insurance Group appointedWendy L. Markham to Senior Vice President/ChiefUnderwriting Officer. Markham joined Nautilus in 1986 andmost recently served as vice president-underwriting generalliability. She has over 25 years of industry experience,specializing in underwriting and product development.

Markel launched a revamped tenant discriminationpolicy. Some of the new features include extended reportingperiods, expanded definitions, and modified clauses andprovisions.

Starr Aviation, a division of Starr Indemnity& Liability Company, has partnered with the Society ofAviation and Flight Educators and Redbird Flight Simulations toreward participation of insureds in the Pilot Proficiency Project.The project offers a series of seminars and simulator trainingscenarios that address common causes of general aviation accidents.Qualified Starr policyholders participating in seminars orsimulator training will receive the benefits of the AccidentForgiveness Endorsement.
