Donna Chiapperino was named president of the ProfessionalInsurance Agents of New York State Inc.

Ms. Chiapperino is director of marketing for Jimcor Agencies inMontvale, N.J. The firm has offices in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.,Plainview, N.Y., and other locations throughout the NortheastRegion.

An active member of PIANY, Ms. Chiapperino is vice president ofthe nominations committee and a member of the Hudson ValleyRegional Awareness Program and the Executive/Budget & FinanceCommittees.

She also is an active past-president of the New York YoungInsurance Professionals.

On a National level, Ms. Chiapperino is a member of the PIANational Insurance Foundation Board of Directors and chairs the PIANational Young Insurance Professionals Advisory Council.

The association also announced the naming of the followingofficials:

o Rich Savino was named president-elect. He is partner,president and chief executive officer of Warwick Resource Groupwith locations in Warwick and Rockland counties in New York.

o Michael Skeele was named first vice president. He is presidentof Skeele Agency in DeRuyter, N.Y.

o Alan Plafker was named vice president. He is president andchief executive officer of Member Brokerage Service, LLC, inBriarwood, N.Y.

o Eugene Sandy was elected vice president. He is director ofmarketing for the Millennium Alliance Group, LLC, in Syosset,N.Y.

o John Parsons II was named treasurer. He is vice president ofParsons and Associates Inc. in Syracuse, N.Y.

o Kevin Ryan will serve as immediate past president. He ispresident and chief executive officer of The Valley Group Inc. inKingston, N.Y.

o Michael Plafker, commercial lines customer servicerepresentative for Member Brokerage Service, LLC, in Briarwood,N.Y., was named president of the New York Young InsuranceProfessionals.
