Until 2005, Heil was program director for ACORD's Life, Annuity & Health Standards program. Before that, his industry experience included serving as a vice president of information systems for a national life insurance agency, a senior vice president of a leading insurance illustration systems vendor and a senior vice president of a multi-national software developer selling automated underwriting and new business processing systems worldwide.
