The heads of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and its affiliated association in New York took issue with criticism of contingent commissions voiced by the president of the Risk and Insurance Management Society.

Bob Rusbuldt, president and chief executive officer of the IIABA, and Dick Poppa, president and CEO of the IIAB of New York, sent a letter to National Underwriter responding to comments made by RIMS President Terry Fleming in a "Final Say" opinion column published earlier this month by NU.
