This month, thousands of workers' compensation claim professionals and attorneys from all over the nation will come together to mark the 65th iteration of the Workers' Compensation Educational Conference (WCEC), which is hosted by the Florida Workers' Compensation Institute (FWCI) and held at the Orlando Marriott World Center.

The conference seeks to bring workers' comp professionals together for networking, information sharing, and vendor exhibiting solutions. FWCI's educational offerings highlight case law updates, current insurance regulations, as well as emerging national trends. In addition to claim professionals and attorneys, the courses target payors, providers, employers, and other interested parties.

Beginning as a regional conference for Florida workers' comp professionals, WCEC has embarked on a mission in recent years to expand its presence within the national workers' compensation landscape. It's reflected in this year's program, which includes topics that address national trends, changes at the state and national levels, and case law revisions.
