Mitchell International, Inc., a provider of information, workflow, and performance management solutions to the property/casualty claims and collision repair industries, has announced the release of WorkCenter Total Loss 4.0. It is the latest version of Mitchell's total loss vehicle valuation solution developed in conjunction with customer satisfaction and vehicle pricing expert J.D. Power and Associates.

As a part of its advanced feature set, WorkCenter presents vehicle equipment data much like that contained in a build sheet and in the same window-sticker terminology used by the manufacturers themselves.

Sourced through R. L. Polk & Co., a provider of automotive information and marketing solutions, the descriptions of options and packages are displayed on the Mitchell comparable vehicle and N.A.D.A. vehicle valuation reports. Supplying an easily understood, readily accepted description of vehicle equipment allows carriers to assure policyholders all the equipment on their total loss vehicle was taken into account for the valuation.
