Insurance Broadcasting, in conjunction with the Insurance Media Association, has announced its seventh annual list of the 100 most powerful people in the insurance industry for North America, also referred to as the Insurance Dream Team.

The methodology Insurance Broadcasting uses for measuring power is not to create a list of the CEOs of the 100-largest insurance companies. Nor does it recognize or account for past achievement, longevity, decide who is the most effective businessperson, determine who has been the most innovative, or choose who is on the fast track to the top.

Insurance Broadcasting has 21 categories for its list, including insurance technology and insurance technology vendors.
