VERTEX, Inc., a provider of services and software to the insurance industry, has introduced a term and permanent life product platform and partnered with Blue Frog Solutions, a provider of life and annuity order entry systems, as the first consumer of VERTEX's electronic transmissions.
VERTEX worked to help define ACORD's Product Profile for Life (PPfL) transmittal so product rules can be distributed externally to insurance partners in support of electronic life product sales.
Blue Frog's AFFIRM for Life platform will adhere to a carrier's product rules as communicated by VERTEX. Previously, VERTEX and Blue Frog worked in a similar manner to develop fully their annuity offerings.
