In recognition of their outstanding contributions to their almamater and the financial services industry, The American Collegerecently presented Gloria La Grassa, former president of the NewYork City Chapter of Financial Service Professionals, and RichardLiddy, retired chairman of the board of GenAmerica FinancialCorporation, with their highest honor - the Huebner Gold Medal.
The longtime friends and supporters of the nation's leadingeducator of financial service professionals were honored duringthe2009 Knowledge Summit at the President's CircleDinner, a black-tie affair that took place at the JFK PresidentialMuseum and Library in Boston.
The Huebner Gold Medal, awarded annually since 1975, honorsspecial individuals whose support of The American College programsand dedication to education and professionalism have been ofparticular meaning to the mission and progress of theinstitution.
