Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF), Inc., ofJacksonville has developed two new health cards available forconsumer purchase at Winn Dixie(R) in October and atCVS/pharmacy(R) stores in November statewide.
|The $59.00 Gift of Health Care card may be used to purchase thecompany's health insurance plans. The $19.00 FamilyBlue Discountcard, good for three months, provides discounts on dental andvision care as well as prescriptions for an entire family.
|BSBCF also reported it plans to lay off as many as 150 employeesby the end of the year. The cuts represent 2.5 percent of theworkforce, which employs about 6,000 people statewide.
