Workers’ compensation is a complex insurance product, with state-specific regulations, ever-evolving court rulings, and an increasingly litigious environment. One web site offers a 770-word “overview of workers’ compensation programs and laws,” complete with four sources, for $27.95. The same site will set you up with a 3,985-word “comprehensive look at the system its benefits and challenges,” with 17 sources, for $108.95. Many sites helpfully offer discount pricing for multiple purchases: “Buy one, get 40 percent off the second paper!” they exclaim.
