Zurich in North America, Schaumburg, Ill., has named MarcusCooper senior vice president for national sales and strategicrelationships. Cooper replaces Mike Vaught, who is retiring.
In his new position, Cooper will:
o Manage Zurich's national strategic broker strategy while alsoaligning strategies with Mike Golden, head of Zurich GlobalCorporate Distribution Management and the global strategicbrokers;
o Collaborate, partner and coach a cross-functional field group forestablishing a common organizational sales culture;
o Manage the alignment of Zurich in North America's sales anddistribution practices with the business units.
Before joining Zurich in 2007, Cooper was assistant vicepresident and branch manager with Crum & Forster. Prior tothat, he held key management roles with American InternationalGroup. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree fromSouthwest Texas State University.
