The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) has elected seven newly members to the board of governors. 19 companies also joined the association in 2008.
PCI's new board members include: Terrence W. Cavanaugh, president and chief executive officer, Erie Insurance Group; Peter Christen, president and chief executive officer, QBE Regional Insurance; Bernard Flynn, president and chief executive officer, NJM Insurance Group; Robert F. Hill, president, American Reliable Insurance Co.; John Latham, senior vice president, office of development and president, southeast region, Markel Corp. Group; Gregory E. Murphy, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Selective Insurance Group; and Mary Todd Peterson, president and chief executive officer, Medmarc Insurance Group.
The following property casualty insurance companies joined PCI in 2008: Allied World RE U.S., American Keystone Insurance Co., American Strategic Insurance Group, Association Casualty Insurance Co., Georgia Casualty & Surety Co., Benchmark Insurance Co., Berkshire Hathaway Assurance Corp., Builders Insurance Group, First Home Insurance Co., Ironshore Holdings Inc., Litchfield Mutual Fire Insurance Co., Members Insurance Co., Mutual Savings Fire Insurance Co., PARIS RE Insurance Co. of Maryland, Patrons Mutual Insurance Co. of Connecticut, Seaworthy Insurance Co., Selective Insurance Group, Inc., Sentruity Casualty Insurance Co., Victory Insurance Co. of Montana and Workers Compensation Fund.
