Inc. has announced enhancedendorsements to their business owner's policy (BOP), which weredeveloped to address the needs of architects, engineers,consultants, and interior designers and surveyors who handlevaluable art, papers or use specialized equipment. The BOPendorsement has increased limits on electronic data equipment,accounts receivable, valuable papers and fine arts.

For design professionals:
o Full coverage for business personal property off premises for 60days. Optional coverage is available for more than 60 days.
o There are increased limits for property in their care, custodyand control at any location or in transit.
o The fine arts definition has been changed to include models,sculptures and artistic renderings.
o The valuable papers and records definition specifically includesdesigns and plans.
o There are increased limits for laptops and PDAs both on and offpremises.

For surveyors, in addition to the above enhancements, a definitionof surveyor's equipment has been added to address their uniqueexposures such as breakage of glass and lenses.

The GL endorsement features include:
o Contractual liability coverage for work performed within 50 feetof railroads.
o Most frequently requested types of additional insureds areincluded. The coverage triggers automatically so policyholdersdon't need a separate endorsement each time they're asked to coveran additional entity.
o Additional insured coverage is triggered by contractualrequirements and includes products and completed operations,primary or primary and noncontributing, and waiver ofsubrogation
o Aggregate limit applies on a per project basis.
