The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) has launched Attachments Warehouse, a new licensing tool that electronically stores documents submitted by agent license applicants.
Attachments Warehouse allows insurance department personnel to download the document from the Warehouse while reviewing the corresponding application. Once an attachment is submitted online via the Warehouse, a notification is e-mailed to the requesting state. Previously, all requested documents had to be faxed or mailed to each requesting state and then matched to a hardcopy application by a member of the state insurance department.
All jurisdictions are accepting documents via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
