In the wake of Tropical Storm Fay, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has released information from the top insurers in the state.

As of Aug. 24, Citizens Property Insurance Corp. reported 1,714 homeowners' claims and Universal Property & Casualty reported 791 homeowners' claims.

As of Aug. 23, State Farm reported 4,245 homeowners' claims, 812 auto claims and 571 flood claims through the National Flood Insurance Program, and USAA reported 790 homeowners' claims, 125 auto claims and 105 flood claims through the National Flood Insurance Program.

Allstate has not reported their number of claims yet.
