In case you are wondering whatever became of Leonard Crouse, former Vermont captive regulator, he began work in the private sector on June 1 as a partner with the U.S. operations of Barbados-based Towner Management Group.

“It’s quite different being on this side of the business, no question,” noted Vermont’s former deputy commissioner and director of captive insurance. “As a head regulator, you sat there and people came to you. Now you have to go out and bang on some doors and make phone calls and visit and travel.”
