York Insurance Services Group Inc. announced it has acquired American Risk Pooling Consultants Inc. and its affiliates.
ARPCO was a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Mercury Financial Corp. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
ARPCO provides pool administration services, including underwriting, claims, loss control/risk management and reinsurance for self-insured public entity pools throughout the Midwest. ARPCO president John Brockschmidt will become part of York Risk Management Services.
