Three insurers made the list of the top 20 companies chosen by Working Mother magazine for "Best Company for Multicultural Women." The three companies were Allstate, Chubb and MetLife.
"We are pleased to be recognized as a company that has created an inclusive environment," Kathy Marvel, senior vice president, Chubb & Son, and chief diversity officer for the Warren, N.J.-based company, said in a statement. "Chubb's success rests on its ability to find new ways to further strengthen our culture of inclusion and to attract and retain the most talented and diverse group of employees to meet our customers' needs."
The company, which said it has received the honor for the second consecutive year, said that it has several corporate employee resource groups and local diversity groups at the company to help address the concerns of multicultural women.
